I am Shereen Shendy from and live in Cairo, Egypt. I am a teacher of Arabic as a Foreign Language. I love language in general and Arabic in particular. My passion is to teach and meet students from all over the world. I am also passionate to travel and explore new places and new cultures.我的教學經歷
I hold an MA in TAFL and over ten years of experience teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. My teaching background spans various settings, including academic and non-academic, both in-person and online. Notably, I've instructed at Penn State University, USA, and Leiden University, the Netherlands, covering Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Spoken Arabic, and culture. Additionally, since 2010, I've been actively engaged in teaching at the American University in Cairo. Beyond university teaching, I've also provided tailored instruction in general Arabic and Arabic for specific purposes to diverse students worldwide, addressing a wide array of topics to meet individual learning needs.我的課程內容與教學風格
As a teacher, my teaching philosophy is centered around the power of communicative interactive learning and making the process an enjoyable, relaxed experience for students. My teaching experience includes concentrating on the four language skills as well as grammar, culture and the non-standard language use including slang.我的教材
