I am a mother of four who lives in Ohio in the United States. In addition to teaching English, I also enjoy learning Japanese, teaching yoga, weight lifting, painting, taking portraits, and traveling. I have traveled to more than 30 countries. I have lived in Japan, Mexico, England, and Poland. My favorite city in the US is Sedona, Arizona. My favorite city in the world is Queretaro, Mexico. I spend my days homeschooling my children.我的教學經歷
I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in English with a concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have more than twenty years of experience. I have taught English in the United States, Mexico, and Poland. I have more than 16,000 classes on-line to more than 2800 Chinese students. I have taught all ages and levels. Students comment to me that they appreciate my patience, enthusiasm, and focus. I provide corrections with positivity and encouragement. My goal is for students to leave each class feeling like they learned as much as they possibly could and motivated to learn more!我的課程內容與教學風格
I am known for my clear, distinct enunciation and standard Midwestern accent and accurate pronunciation. Students also tell me they appreciate that I am able provide corrections with understandable explanations. I enjoy creating materials to help visual learners grasp new words and concepts. I have a large collection of every day items and photos to spark conversation and demonstrate meaning. I can provide additional homework and learning materials as requested and needed. I adapt the lesson to the learning style, age, level, personality, and needs of each student. I am enthusiastic and dedicated to filling each minute of class with as much learning as possible!我的教材

Stephanie is a lovely person to talk to. As she has a genuine interest in getting to know people, you will feel you are important as a person, and what you say matters. She is passionate about life in general. It has always been nice to hear her sharing life stories and her wisdom as well. Her lesson is not only about the language itself but also about using a second language to understand and connect. You get a chance to produce a meaningful output before an attentive listener who actually cares about you and your experience. I think that’s what empowers me to become better at public speech. This experience is in contrast with oral exams many of you may have taken before, where you might feel being judged on every aspect of your speech by the examiner who does not care about what you say at all. With Stephanie it’s easy to explore new ways to express myself, knowing I will make mistakes on the first try but never feeling judged. Grateful to have taken lessons with Stephanie!

I've been taking classes twice a week with Stephanie for a little over two months now, since the first class I identified a lot with her and I decided to adopt her as my permanent teacher. I've never felt so free with any other teacher to focus exactly on my particular difficulties and improve my English a lot (specially my pronunciation). I love her corrections while we talk about the most diverse subjects and I learn even more through her slide lessons. She is a great teacher!

Meeting Stephanie was a stroke of luck. From the first class, it was amazing. She has a ton of resources to help with your learning process, in all the areas (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and speaking). Talking with her is very easy, and the additional materials she uses are fantastic. The best teacher ever!
