わたしの名前（なまえ）はKOZOです。日本（にほん）で生（う）まれ、東京（とうきょう）で育（そだ）ちました。アメリカに４年間（ねんかん）ほど住（す）んでいたことがあります。いくつかの会社（かいしゃ）で翻訳（ほんやく）や通訳（つうやく）をしたことがあり、現在（げんざい）は日本（にほん）に移住（いじゅう）してくる人（ひと）たちが、日本（にほん）での生活（せいかつ）になじめるように、通訳（つうやく）や翻訳（ほんやく）したりして、援助（えんじょ）しています。
My name is Kozo. I was born in Japan and raised in Tokyo. I've lived in the U.S. for four years and worked as a translator and interpreter for several companies. Through my translation and interpretation, I help people who have moved to Japan get used to Japanese culture.我的教學經歷
わたしは翻訳者（ほんやくしゃ）、通訳者（つうやくしゃ）の視点（してん）から日本語（にほんご）を解説（かいせつ）することができます。また、英語（えいご）を勉強（べんきょう）した経験（けいけん）があるので、言語（げんご）の学（まな）び方（かた）について自分（じぶん）の経験（けいけん）から教（おし）えることができます。
いろいろな国（くに）から日本（にほん）に越（こ）してきた人（ひと）たちに、日本（にほん）での生活（せいかつ）について説明（せつめい）するのが今（いま）の仕事（しごと）なので、皆（みな）さんに同様（どうよう）の説明（せつめい）をすることは、皆（みな）さんにとって益（えき）になると思（おも）います。
As a translator and an interpreter, I can not only teach but also explain Japanese. Since I've experienced learning English, I can teach you how to study the language from my experience.
Explaining life in Japan to those who moved to Japan is my job right now, I have confidence that doing the same thing to you will benefit your study.我的課程內容與教學風格
● Freestyle Conversation Class
Using 75 topics, we have a conversation. If we find the areas you need to strengthen, we study those points together by using several textbooks.
● Conversation Using Daily Expressions
From we wake up until going to bed, we study expressions.
● Using Text Book, "GENKI", "MINNANO-NIHONGO", "Japanese For Busy People", "TOBIRA" Class
You can get lessons using them.
● Preparation for JLPT Class (N5, N4, N3, N2, N1)
You can get the lesson for JLPT test.
● Japanese Grammar Class
●ビジネス日本語（敬語、尊敬語、謙譲語）
就職活動、メールの書き方、電話応対、ビジネスマナー等、日本語を使って働きたい方、働いている方のためのレッスンです。

If you’re new to Japanese you’ll love starting Kozos class.
This was my first lesson with Kozo and I loved it! He is a perfect teacher for beginners like myself. Upon booking he reached out and introduced himself in a personable way. I let him know my goals to practice conversation I’ve learned from my outside studies.
During the meeting he’s very patient and came prepared. I’m amazed how quickly he was able to establish my level of conversation skills and adapt, as some other inexperienced tutors I found myself confused often.
Thank you and I look forward to continuing to learn and practice with you!

I have had the pleasure of learning from Kozo sensei for the last 6 months and over 50 lessons.
He is a very good teacher, always patient and kind to you and never makes you feel bad for making mistakes.
I encourage anyone who prefers a softer style of teaching to take lessons with Kozo sensei because
he will make you feel comfortable enough to continue studying.
The main highlights of his classes are:
1) Always fun classes, keeps you motivated to continue
2) Does not stress you out
3) Always supportive
4) Well prepared, with topics to study and/or books to follow
5) Individual tailored teaching
6) Not strict / casual style
7) Flexible and doesn’t follow rigid structures
8) Can change topics to whatever you’re interested in
It was very much fun learning from you Kozo sensei, thank you very very much for the time you’ve spent with me.

I've been taking Lessons with Kozo Sensei a long time! I am about to go to Japan soon and I feel completely prepared for the trip due to his diligence in teaching me. His methods and knowledge are top class and I cannot recommend him enough, he's definitely one of the best on italki!
