I’m a professional and certified English teacher from the United States. I’ve been teaching for over 12 years now, and I’m passionate about helping learners improve on their English language skills to gain more opportunities in their lives. I specialize in general English, Exam Preparation and Business English.我的教學經歷
I have worked with all levels and can tailor the lessons to fit your needs and goals. My focus lately has been teaching university students who are Business majors planning on studying and working abroad. The main area of focus has been: IELTS test preparation, English for academic purposes and Business English skills for the workplace. IELTS Instructor - Yucui Education Investment - 2016In 2015-2106 I was employed with Yucui Education Investment where I was an IELTS instructor teaching at Dalian Jiaotong University in Dalian, China. I was responsible for preparing my first year university students for passing the IELTS exam for a study abroad program in Melbourne, Australia. During my time of employment, I attended several workshops during the school year which prepared our teachers with the latest and most effective teaching strategies in regards to IELTS test preparation.

My Bachelor’s degree (uploaded on my profile) is in Computer Information Systems, as well as extensive experience as a working professional in the IT industry as a software developer.
Over the 8 years of my teaching experience on italki, the vast majority of my Business English students have been IT professionals. The main focus has been on Interview Preparation and general communication in an IT working environment.
