Sa wad dii krub! - Hello! I am Tam, a trained Thai teacher with 8 years of experience. I started loving languages while doing my master's degree in documentary film in Berlin, Germany. For 5 years, I soaked up all the language and culture. What a wonderful city!
I am a project manager at one of the biggest movie streaming platform companies in Bangkok, Thailand. Apart from that, I love reading. I used to be a writer. Still, I am a part-time filmmaker who is crazy about movies and checking out art exhibitions.
Back in the class, I know how to teach Thai like a real pro. I've been doing it for a long time, helping many people learn, speak, and communicate in Thai.我的教學經歷
I have tutored students from the beginning level to the advanced level. When I started learning German, I did some language exchange with the people who want to learn Thai and can give some German lessons back for me.
When I was in Bangkok, I had face-to-face Thai lessons with two Germans for around three months. Now, I am still doing this kind of language exchange every day since September 2017. I have experience teaching Thai to foreigners for more than 4 years.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lesson is based on your interest. I always have a short talk at the beginning of the lesson so that I can understand your goals, your interests. I can give several types of material such as audio, homework, etc.
The most important things are that I can suggest you Thai movies, or Thai video channel on Youtube, as I study films, so I quite specialize in this topic. And also some Thai literature, and even another cultural aspects in Thai. Because it is something that I found very interested and it keeps your motivation flying high.我的教材

Have been working with Kru Tam for a couple of months now and really enjoying it. The lessons are very interactive and structured well so that you practice both reading and speaking, and the exercises you do together really help put the new vocabulary you learn into context. He is really patient and makes sure you get the pronunciation right (particularly the tones!) which is something I really need and value as a beginner!

My Thai has improved very quickly under Kruu Tam’s teaching.
The lessons are well structured (recap previous lesson via conversation, introduction of new concepts, drills and asking/answering questions).
I would highly recommend Kruu Tam, he is patient, focused and most importantly a great teacher!
