Hello! 你好！My name is Vivian. I’m a certified Chinese teacher from China, a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker. I was born and raised in Guangzhou. I’m also learning English and Spanish on italki. I enjoy teaching and learning languages because I believe a new language sees a new world.我的教學經歷

☆ I majored in Graphic Arts in Guangzhou University. So I always like to create vivid graphic visualizations and PowerPoint slides to enhance my lessons so that they are very clear and easy to understand.

I took Vivian's Cantonese class as a beginner. I was nervous to try a language with so many well known obstacles, but she helped me to navigate through the minefield that is Cantonese. She is very supportive, has many excellent resources, and presents the material in a well-organized and professional manner. I highly recommend her for your studies!

Vivian did a great job giving a short introduction to tones and Taoism specific terms for my 11th grade IB World Religion students. She was extremely prepared, with note cards and a power point presentation. She was both clear and positive in her interactions with the class. My students LOVED the experience and we are all very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her!

Vivian was very professional, she came on time to class and prepared! She was in good energy and had a lot of patience with my 6 and 8 years old children. She s very responsive to my questions and requests. She also take time to get to know my needs. I am very happy that I found her on italki and will definitely book lesson with her again. Thank you!
