My name is Light. I am from Baguio City, Philippines. I have been an English teacher and tutor for a couple of years. I teach Tagalog/Filipino, Baguio Ilokano, and English. I like listening to music, singing, reading, and writing. 私の名前はライト。私のクラスでお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I can be strict if I have to, but I am basically a "chill" teacher. I make sure that my students are comfortable talking and studying with me.
I will prepare powerpoint presentations if needed and requested.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons and teaching styles vary from one student to another. I start with introductions, to make my students feel at ease. Then, I ask about their prior knowledge on the target language. If they are on the beginner level, then we start with a little background of the language, followed by greetings and their meanings. If the student already know the basics, then we move to conversation.我的教材

Second lesson with Light and more to come. Multiple ways of teaching has helped in finding the right style for myself. Her patience, understanding, and enthusiasm has brought me back to her lessons and will do the same for you. If you are looking for a proper, modern, and not stiff (textbook) way of speaking Tagalog, (even though she will show you examples of it if you ask) you don't need to look further. Salamat titser Light!
