Hello everyone!
My name is Polina and I'm from Russia.
Currently I'm doing my master's degree in teaching Russian as a foreign language (The Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia).
I'm focused on self-improvement and I have many interests: languages, sports, music, reading, video games, board games, traveling.

I’ve been teaching Russian online since 2013, when I was in my second year at university. I absolutely love my job!
In 2017, I've got my diploma in teaching Russian as a foreign language. I've completed my studies with excellent grades at Moscow State University, one of Russia's most prestigious institutions of higher learning.

● You can reschedule/cancel a lesson at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson time, after that, if you decide to reschedule/cancel, the refund will be at my discretion.
● If you are late for more than 15 minutes without letting me know, the lesson won't take place and full payment will be collected.

I teach all levels of Russian, even if you are an extreme beginner.
During our lessons you will be:
- Speaking Russian. A lot.
- Improving your pronunciation.
- Learning essential grammar.
- Progressively increasing your vocabulary.
- Learning about Russian culture and traditions.
During classes, I often use the interactive learning platform as well as Google Docs, so it is recommended that you use a laptop or a desktop.我的教材

I find it hard to imagine how a language teacher could be better than Polina. She’s friendly, fun, professional, extraordinarily intelligent, and endlessly patient in the face of my relentless stupid mistakes! She is incredibly encouraging, and I am indebted to her for making the process of learning such a challenging language feel accessible and achievable. I was very quickly given the confidence to converse (in a fashion), and all the while, errors in word use or pronunciation (however subtle), assiduously noted and carefully corrected. Lesson topics are tailored to my personal interests and her homework resources are clearly the product of a great deal of care and effort. I've had 25 lessons with Polina and she has been great! My Russian skills have improved greatly since the start, and Polina has been fantastic at understanding my needs and goals in learning Russian and focusing our lessons around those needs. 10/10, would absolutely recommend as a teacher!

Great lesson! I have learned more grammar in two classes with Polina than I learned in one semester with another teacher. She moves at a quick pace through the grammar so that I can start speaking as soon as possible. I am enjoying my lessons with her!
