Ciao a tutti!
This is Serena, I'm Italian, from Rome to be precise.
I started studying languages when I was eleven, that's why I speak fluent English, Spanish and Russian (с ощибками)). I have a degree in Languages and Cultures and I'm currently studying for a Masters in Modern Languages for International Communication.
As you can understand from my CV, I LOVE LANGUAGES AND CULTURES and I have a lot of experience in learning.
Moreover, in 2018, after finishing university, I took a gap year and somehow ended up in Russia, teaching foreign languages in a private school. I was only there for three months, but it helped me a lot to understand what it means to be a teacher!我的教學經歷
I am a friendly teacher who understands how challenging learning a new language can be. So don't worry! I'll try to make this journey as easy and fun as possible!
The first thing I will do is try to understand what your goals are and how best to achieve them. I am a very curious person, so there will be lots of questions and different topics of conversation :)
I love being in contact with my students and being a friend, teaching them something interesting and helpful, rather than being "just a teacher".我的課程內容與教學風格
I prefer to focus my lessons on dialogue, based on a text/video or any topic you're interested in. For those who want, we'll do some grammar exercises and of course homework :)
My main goal is to make you improve, but MOST importantly, to make you understand what we are doing, that's why if you are at a beginner level of Italian, we can also use a support language such as ENGLISH, SPANISH OR RUSSIAN.我的教材

Serena is a very good teacher. She is pleasant, patient and interesting to talk to. As well as chatting about day-to-day things, she gives me an article to read or a video to watch beforehand, and we discuss it in the lesson. She corrects me and helps me out when I struggle to say something, and she writes everything down so I can refer back to it later. If I can't understand a phrase she can explain it to me in English. Lessons with Serena are very enjoyable and instructive.
