Masayo

Time flies so quickly in Teacher Masayo's class. As always, I enjoy chatting with her and learn new things about Japan. Today I picked up many new words from our conversation and I am grateful for her time and patience.

I have had quite a few lessons already with Masayo-san, and the only reason I haven’t written a review earlier is that I’m new to italki and wasn’t quite sure how it worked. I’m so glad to have met Masayo-san here. Her knowledge of both Japanese and Turkish culture is truly rare and valuable to me, and our lessons are encouraging on so many levels. As you progress in language learning, it becomes about understanding cultural differences too, and even though I’m not quite there yet, I really enjoy discussing these aspects with Masayo-san. From the very start, I felt comfortable and understood. I don’t feel like I’m talking to a teacher with authority over me—I tend to be shy, but Masayo-san creates such a relaxed environment that I feel like I’m talking to an old friend, despite the difference in our ages. I look forward to many more lessons with her and highly recommend Masayo-san to anyone interested in Japanese conversation! Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum! 色々ありがとうございます！

Another great lesson with Teacher Masayo, as usual. She is always encouraging, patient and inspiring! I enjoy the interesting stories and information she explains in Japanese.

Teacher Masayo is friendly and creates a very welcoming environment for learning - I never feel pressured when conversing with her in Japanese. She is truly encouraging and provides constructive feedback during the class.

I enjoy every lesson with Masayo-sensei. She always uses very interesting vocabulary and finds fascinating topics for a talk. Even if I feel sleepy before the lesson she makes me feel fresh and gives a lot of positive energy :) Thank you very much, sensei
