Hello everyone! My name is Sokneang and I'm from Cambodia. I've graduated from Western University of TESOL in Cambodia. To graduate my degree, I had to do my practicum at my University . About my working experiences, since 2019 until now I’ve been working as a primary full-time English teacher at Sovannaphumi School Takhmao 2 Campus- a standard school . Moreover In 2015, I volunteered with VSO-ICS program at Voluntary Service Oversea which required me to work in poor communities in Rathanakiri province alongside UK youths to provide soft skill trainings to youths for three 3 months. I'm not only rich of teaching, but I'm also rich of culture diversity awareness as well.我的教學經歷
I've been teaching English for 6 years at a private school. And I just started to teaching Khmer for 2 year to students at home. Basically, I joined the short course to be a general Khmer knowledge teacher by National Institute Education for 3 months. Moreover, through working at my workplace so far, I've been trained a lot to become a professional one. My Further more, I sometimes exchange my Khmer language with my foreign online friends who wishes to acquire the language. And about my personality, I am really helpful, easy going and open minded. I have some loaded books for foreigners to learn Khmer as my resources. And I also create slides lessons with romanization and English translation which are easy for students to catch up. Be noticed, before starting the class, I will have a small talk with my students , and review the old lessons. and during, my class, I prefer my students practice speaking, or making sentences more than I do and then Ill give my students feedback after. I think this is the best way for language learners should do so that they can have real practice in learning process. After class, I will assign homework as speaking/reading recording and making sentences .我的教材

My first language class with Sokneang was great! She was very kind and understanding, she gave me a solid introduction, discussed learning goals, and guided me through an initial conversational exchange lesson. She also recommended some straightforward homework and resources. Looking forward to my next lesson!
