My name is Elisa Matilde, and I live in Tuscany, Italy, where I study Philosophy at the University of Pisa🧠. Years ago, I attended a school that allowed me to study ancient languages like Greek and Latin, which, although no longer spoken, are still very useful for better understanding the birth and development process of every language!🤓
I also have many different interests, such as poetry, music, and art in general: I am a very curious person and am interested in everything, including math and computer programming👻. I am fascinated by the diversity of the world 🌍 and the meeting of different cultures, and I have always wanted to become a teacher...or all these reasons, I am on Italki!😁教学经验
I have a passion for teaching, and I’ve always wanted to do it🍃, and I’ve conducted many classes in different situations. I like listening to suggestions and critiques, and I’m very patient. I take commitments seriously, but I want my students to have fun and feel good during class! I think it’s essential to create a comfortable situation to learn💡.
Italki is not my only job, but to meet as many requests as possible, we can communicate via message and find a time that works for both of us! If you don't find a convenient time, tell me!🌈

My lessons differ according to students’ levels, interests, and needs🧐. Everyone has a personal way of understanding and acquiring new things, so it’s vital to match these aspects⚖️. We can converse about casual topics if someone wants to improve their language. If another student wants to know something more specific, we can work on texts about their interests and needs. As well, we can speak about anything!😄

Elisa is a very friendly teacher and having a conversation with her is always fun. Also for grammar lessons she is perfectly well prepared. I would recommend her to all who want to learn Italian.

Elisa is awesome. She has all the skills and qualities of a incredible teacher with lots of patience, passion & positivity. She sent me over pre-learning materials before my trial lesson, of which we covered very clearly in class, with lots of room to practise speaking. I feel prepared going into my homework. I'm excited to book her lesson packages and start learning :)
