Hey, my name is Young Wang. I was born and raised in China. My hometown is Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province.

I used to be a Chinese-English translator and have published two translated books. I'm a PhD candidate, and I'm working on the digital economy at the University of Bristol.
我曾是一名中英译者，已出版两本译著。目前，我是一名博士研究生，目前就读于英国布里斯托大学，研究数字经济领域。
I’m also a language learner. I can speak English, and I also studied a little bit of German, so I do know how important it is to be able to have regular communication with native speakers if you want to take your language skills to the next level.

I used to work as a language teacher in the middle school division of an international school in Shenzhen, and I also served as a Chinese speech coach for students. It was a rewarding experience that allowed me to engage with language teaching and contribute to the growth of young minds in their language journey.
我曾在深圳一所国际学校的中学部担任语言老师，同时担任学生的中文演讲教练。这是一段意义颇丰的经历，让我有机会投身于语言教学，并在年轻学子的语言学习之旅中添砖加瓦，见证他们的成长。
Currently, I'm studying and living in the UK, and in my spare time, I offer Chinese language teaching. My total teaching hours, both offline and online, have exceeded 500 hours, indicating extensive experience in teaching Mandarin Chinese.

Young Wang is a very good teacher. He is very knowledgeable. He speaks with a broad vocabulary and usage, so I can always improve my language comprehension with him. Today we started by speaking about medical issues. Soon, we turned to the conflict in the Middle East, as it is a huge concern of mine. We were able to use recent vocabulary acquisitions and yet more today, to conduct a very high-level discussion on the nature of the conflict, including topics such as hostages, terrorism, and the asymmetrical war that is being fought. We talked about various ideas for solutions to the conflict. I always look forward to my discussions with Young. Thanks so much, Young!
