Hello! My name is Cindy and I'm an Mandarin teacher from Taiwan. I'm always moving around and currently base in Costa Rica. Before that I lived in Taiwan, Spain, Australia, and Thailand.
I love meeting new people and try to help them in different ways, changing keeps me staying passionate!
I'm also into cooking, travel, cultures, languages, philosophy and movies!

I'm a TCSOL, TCFL certified teacher with 3 years experience. I have been a classroom teacher and one-on-one tutor in Spain, Thailand and Taiwan, my students are all ages and backgrounds.
Honestly, I love teaching both kids and adults!
For kids, we can always learning Mandarin with so much fun by playing games, watching short clips and singing songs. We will repeat over and over again in class, I fully understand kids need more time and patience!
For adults, I'm into learning people's life experience and I'm sure our class will be very useful and much time for you to practice.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Before the class, we will talk about your needs and goals and see how I can help you to reach them!
Usually I will create a customize lessons for students and they will have a lot of chances to speak in class.
1. Conversational lesson: Supermarket, Bank, Restaurant, etc.
Go over those sentences and vocabularies which are frequently used in daily life and practice until you get it!
2. Cultural lesson: Lunar New Year, Dragon boat festival, etc.
Introduce the festivals and traditions, we will do some activities and watch the videos in class.
3. Business Mandarin: Greeting in the meetings, writing an email, etc.
4. Kids' Mandarin: Learning Mandarin with singing songs and playing games!我的教学资料

Fun, energetic, and kept my 7 year old engaged for the 30 minute lesson. She played games with him while learning Mandarin. She is also very organized and was able to answer any questions I had about future lessons learning Pinyin and Radicals as well.
