I am super duper French, stinky cheese, butter and bread French. I would say that I'm mostly an optimistic and fun person. I usually make my students feel very comfortable and the sessions are a fun break from everyday's stress and life, I - sometimes unintentionally - make them laugh too. But I'd say I don't like being bored and this transpires into our sessions, I love bringing a non-judgmental space where my students can relax and feel good.
Apart from that and in a nutshell: I am passionate about horses, love reading, movies, hiking, meditation, human right advocacy and writing. And my first novel - 'by Night, with Love' - is now available on Kindle! :)教学经验
While I have been teaching French for so many years, I consider myself more of a linguistic coach.
The main difference between teaching and coaching I would say is rather where the emphasis is put during the sessions, which is on the student. The idea for me is to listen to you, and base our sessions on what your needs are in order to achieve your goals as swiftly as possible.
I am also a certified career coach and have found myself offering life coaching to some of my students. And because I believe constantly learning new skills improves your existing ones, I am currently training in equine assisted coaching (which won't be provided online obviously :D)我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Linguistic coaching, tasks based approach, nonlinear pedagogy...
Coaching also requires you to do some 'homework' , which most of the time is mostly small tasks like go and meet a group of French speaking people, watch a French movie and tell me about it or even take a picture of your favorite restaurant menu and get ready for a role play 'au restaurant' :)
But again, depending on your needs and goals, it could range from grammar based homework, test samples, essays, work related dialogues, etc.我的教学资料

Stephanie is very attentive. I can understand how difficult it is - a lesson with a student you don't know. But she has discussed a lot of topics with my 10 years old daughter, and my daughter was very happy. Stephanie made her feel confident and proud of her knowledge.
