Naru

Today we mostly did practice, completing exercises about the grammar points we recently covered. Every lesson is a humbling experience, as it reminds me that learning a language is a long and difficult process. But there is also progress, and thanks to Naru Sensei I am starting to feel more confident speaking Japanese. We even had a brief conversation where I managed to make one or two full sentences. Practice makes perfect. Looking forward to our next lesson!

Great lessons with Narumi. The hour flies without noticing..

Naru san was very thoughtful and thorough! Especially for our first lesson and as a beginner in Japanese, I look forward to learning with her more!!

Today we reviewed the homework from the last lesson. We also reviewed location words and used them in speaking exercises. We started learning about the past tense as well. It was a great class. Grammar is starting to get tricky, but thanks to Naru Sensei's clear explanations, it's less stressful to take in. Looking forward to our next lesson.

I had another great lesson with Narumiさん. She has a great sense of humor so I found myself laughing a bunch during this lesson. She also has a great personality that makes it really easy to chat about anything. I'm looking forward to more lessons!
