I am a Certified Teacher, also work as a translator in English, Spanish and Portuguese which allows me a better understanding of grammar, vocabulary and general knowledge in those languages.

Minha motivação para ensinar é aprender ao mesmo tempo em que ensino. Aprender sobre a cultura do aluno e compará-la com a língua estudada. Meu foco é na comunicação e interação na língua estrangeira.
My motivation while teaching is to learn at the same time I'm teaching. To learn about student's culture and compare it with the language studied. My focus is in communication and interaction in the foreign language.

Eliane was super helpful and nice! She's a great Portuguese teacher. She helped me with my word pronunciation's and if I didn't know how to say a word she would sound it out for me and write down everything in the chat which was extremely helpful. I'm excited to become fluent in Portuguese with her classes!

This first lesson was what I was looking for in a class for Portuguese. Elaine was clear had a plan and met me at my level. At the same time she challenged me and gave materials to use for study as well as homework. Looking forward to our next lesson.
