I am Baris, an enthusiastic and driven 22-year-old student hailing from the Netherlands. With a passion for language and culture, I am is currently studying Middle Eastern Studies and immersing myself in the fascinating intricacies of this region's rich history, politics, and languages. Growing up with three languages spoken at home and currently learning languages like French, Spanish and Farsi, I am a natural polyglot and enjoy sharing my love of languages with others by teaching them Dutch. With my academic background, linguistic skills, and strong enthusiasm, I will be a great asset in your journey of learning the Dutch language.教学经验
In my role as a teacher, I always take the time to assess my students' language skills and needs at the beginning of each lesson. I understand that every learner is unique and therefore, tailor my teaching materials to fit the individual needs of each student.
I like to believe that one of my greatest strengths as an educator is my patient demeanor. I try to create a welcoming learning environment that puts my students at ease and helps them feel comfortable to express themselves freely in a foreign language. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging and sometimes frustrating, so I work hard to foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere in my classroom.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lessons are based on a Google Docs document that is specifically made for each individual student. In that document, I place the explanations of grammar, vocabulary and exercises in the shape of sentences we translate together. The student can reach this document and review the teaching materials and exercises anytime they wish. I am convinced out of experience, both with other teachers and students, that this is one of the best methods for learning another language.
However, if students wish we can also use the lesson to have a conversation in Dutch about any topic of interest! This is also a very effective way to learn new vocabulary.我的教学资料

He was able to zero in on the exact areas where I need improvement and consistently correct me exactly as requested. He illustrated points with clear examples. The material he brought was interesting and relevant. I look forward to more lessons with Baris!
