I have been taking conversation classes with Lucie for about a year and a half now. She has really helped clean up my French, correcting more subtle and nuanced use of language. She is very patient, does not talk over you, and cares about doing a good job, where you can tell that she wants to help you achieve your goals. Lucie also has a wide range of interests, ensuring that the conversation will never be dull. This will not only give you the opportunity to practice and expand your French vocabulary and sentence structures, but also to exchange ideas and learn about things, much the way you would in a conversation in your native language.

Lucie is wonderful! She has a kind and friendly way of putting students at ease, and leads thoughtful & engaging conversations. I always learn something new about French language and culture in our lessons. Lucie is also super smart, creating opportunities for students to articulate complex ideas they may not have had to think about in a second language. This has been a very useful way for me to practice skills I've let get rusty. I've been learning French with Lucie for the past month, with lessons every day or every other day with the aim of improving my French conversation whilst I'm here in France. She corrects my mistakes in a kind and constructive manner, making the learning process enjoyable and effective so it feels like I'm just having a conversation with a friend. We share stories and experiences, which makes each lesson engaging and relatable. I always look forward to our time together and feel increasingly confident in my French speaking.
