But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve. I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. During my lessons, I prefer to use online resources, such as short articles and videos, but if you have suggestions for other materials you would like to use, we can use those as well. Usually I would help them with written langauge, because they would need someone to go over a text and check for any mistakes. I love it when people want to speak Dutch to me and therefore I am very patient. As a matter of fact, I usually prefer listening in general when it comes to speaking. Although I like grammar, I'm NOT a teacher so I won't be able to answer all grammar related questions / provide a curriculum. I believe that any language can be acquired without necessarily having to teach first. The way I see it, grammar just will help you understand the language better.
