Anna is a fantastic Russian tutor, and always comes to class with helpful resources. She is also able to adapt the lessons to the students’ learning style. Would recommend, especially for Anglophones and for those looking to develop more advanced speaking skills in Russian.

Chats with Anna are always full of joy, and time flies :) I recommend her to anyone looking for an encouraging & cheerful tutor, who makes sure to write down helpful vocab and grammatical corrections to help you progress soooo fast!

I recommend Anna’s Russian conversation classes. I purchased a package after our first lesson and have hitherto had two more lessons with Anna. Anna is well-traveled; I enjoy chatting about places that we have visited and discussing travel-related themes like the challenges of living away from your home country. I also like that Anna offers 90-minute lessons as well as the fact that (as of the date of this post) Anna is based in the Americas. Many Russian tutors are obviously based in Europe; therefore, given time zones, it is nice to be able to learn with someone who is available in the evenings and at night after work. I also enjoyed having the chance to read aloud a Russian-language file that Anna put together with touristic and cultural information. I can read the Cyrillic alphabet, but nothing compares to live practice with a native speaker who can correct my pronunciation errors, especially with advanced vocabulary that does not come up in everyday speech. Poor Anna. She has to deal with me. But she's great at being encouraging. I definitely recommend her, particularly if you are at a conversational level. She's fun to talk to!

Great lesson

Another good lesson. Russian is definitely more difficult than I expected, but Anna is always encouraging. I learned Arabic before, and it’s considered one of the most difficult languages for an English speaker, so Russian is definitely challenging in its own ways!
