Hello, my name is Benjamin and I am from Oregon, USA. When I am not teaching, my interests include reading, writing short fiction, watching films, geology, rockhounding, lapidary work, and having engaging conversations about many topics. I love to travel and at this time have been to over 20 countries! During my travels I enjoyed a few places so much that I lived in them for extended periods of time. A couple of my favorite places I've lived are Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Medellin, Colombia (where I currently reside).Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
After obtaining TEFL Certification from the Language Institute at Chiang Mai University I taught classes at Pro Language Chiang Mai in 2008. I remained there until returning home from Thailand in February of 2009. Since then I have done private English tutoring in Thailand, Mexico, and United States.
More recently, I taught English conversation and grammar lessons to students enrolled in Tutlo Online English School, based out of Poland, from 2020 to 2022.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I find that the best way to learn a language is to acquire it through conversation. My skill as a teacher is to adjust to each student's level. Whether you are a beginner at learning English, or are an advanced student, we will communicate and improve your skills. My lesson for this method is "Let's Chat" which is an informal conversation lesson. I do not teach grammar in most of my lessons, however, if you would like to practice some, please let me know and we can spend a portion of our lesson doing some exercises to learn more about your strenghts and weaknesses.Tài liệu giảng dạy của tôi

I took the "Let's Chat!" lessons with Ben to help me prepare for the IELTS exam and improve my conversational English. Ben is a fantastic teacher who can chat about anything, from deep philosophical questions to video games and everyday life. The lessons were always super comfortable and fun.
