I am a positive and encouraging person and nothing motivates me more than seeing my students improve. I have seen my students go from not speaking Swedish at all to being able to have a conversation in the new language in as little as 6 months. It thrills and amazes me every time! I always try to speak Swedish as much as possible and if the student doesn´t understand me I use body language and description. I only translate to another language if it´s necessary. I am fluent in Swedish, English and German and I also speak some Hindi.

That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level. While teaching I always try to make sure my students speaks and expresses themselves as much as possible and I'll always encourage them and also fill in the blanks to give them a little push so they won't be stopping in the middle of the sentence.

I have been teaching Swedish on Italki since 2017, so I am experienced with both new beginners and those who are fluent and all levels in between. Hi! I have been teaching Swedish for a couple of years and I have a good idea which words are important if you want to be able to communicate with people in real life. I have had students that hardly knew the alphabet when I started to teach them and I have had students that already spoke quite good Swedish when I met them. I am flexible as a teacher and I try to adapt my teaching to what my students need.
