Hello, I'm Masa.
Are you interested in starting conversation practice? Have you started practicing conversations but don't feel like you're improving much? Do you always end up using the same phrases? Are you looking to move on to the next level?
I'm here for you.
My lessons are focused on conversation practice, and I can teach beginners to intermediate learners.
I provide conversation videos for Japanese language learners.

Outside of lesson time, I'll introduce you to videos and materials for self-study. A lot of self-study is necessary for beginners who have just started to be able to speak quickly. I'll encourage you and help you while you study on your own! Let's make the lesson time a time to use what you've memorized! If there's something you don't understand, I'll explain it to you.
Above all, what I value most in lessons is enjoying conversation.
When you speak in your native language, do you make more jokes? Even though it's a lesson, let's talk casually in Japanese just like when you speak in your native language.
Casual conversation is also welcome, not just the polite "desu, masu" style!
Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
For those who are just starting or about to start conversation practice, I'll speak slowly and use simple words.
I think you'll find that you can have a conversation well with what you've studied.
In every lesson, we'll use Google Docs.
For intermediate learners who want to reach an advanced level, I'll speak at the speed of native Japanese speakers.
At first, it may feel fast, but you'll gradually get used to it.
Please don't give up and keep up with it.
I'm not a teacher, and ordinary Japanese people don't speak very slowly. You'll get used to the speed at which Japanese people actually speak.
For complete beginners, I can conduct lessons in English.
Let's make a lesson plan together ba

Masa-san really lives up to his name and gently guides you through the lesson. My current goal is to transfer some of my skill set from pure input (reading and listening) to also being able to output in preparation for a trip to Japan. During my first session with him we mostly talked about ourselves, our hobbies, book and movie recommendations and we let the conversation flow from there. As others have mentioned, he keeps a shared Google Docs file in which he writes notes about the conversation and highlights mistakes you might have made. This makes it easy to refer to it afterwards to review a session and pick up where we left off. He also asked me whether the level he was speaking at was comprehensible and whether he should speak more slowly or use a simpler vocabulary.
Definitely a good first experience!
