Hello YOU! My name is Stella, I am a native German and I live in Spain. For more than 16 years I have worked in financial markets and converted more than 4 years ago into a strategic consultant, a German teacher, a book author and a life coach. I am married with one child and I am a dog lover. You might see Coco in our classes. I love to write, read, teach, coach, hike, run, ski, yoga and meditate. After a couple of years of teaching I would assume myself as being an open minded teacher without losing the common thread to success. Although we might get to know each other very well, I maintain to be your teacher in helping and correcting your German to reach out your goals. I am a structured person and I like to be creative. We will cross many topics (countries, activities, environment, daily life, etc.) to make you feel more comfortable in the German language. All my lessons are individually-designed for your needs and I like to teach in a fresh and diversified way. I will also provide homework and customized lesson plans for each student. At the moment I am offering three different types of lessons: PURE CONVERSATION, GERMAN ALL IN and BUSINESS GERMAN. My lessons are more expensive than the average, because I want you to be committed and ready to invest into your future. For that you are getting a teacher who motivates and supports you on your journey to improve your German skills. My lessons are structured, goal oriented and fun. Depending on the class you choose I am using google-docs, online-exercises, articles, videos, music, presentations, books and other working material. Ich arbeite schon seit 25 Jahren in der Finanzbranche als Übersetzer vom Deutschen ins Englische. Leider habe ich im Laufe meiner Karriere nicht viel Deutsch gesprochen, weil ich hauptsächlich mit der schriftlichen Sprache arbeite. Vor einigen Monaten war ich auf der Suche nach einer Deutschlehrerin, mit der ich meine Sprechfähigkeiten verbessern könnte. So habe ich Stella auf iTalki gefunden. Sie ist die perfekte Lehrerin für mich. Sie ist immer freundlich, energisch und enthusiastisch. Eine sehr interessante Person ist sie auch aufgrund ihrer interessanten und vielfältigen Karriere. Unsere Gespräche laufen immer reibungslos. Jetzt spreche ich besser und mit wachsender Zuversicht jede Woche. Ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen.
