Hello! My name is Mathilde, I'm an English and French teacher. Growing up in France I spoke both English with my British mother and French with my father. Learning about the world and it's people is one of my favorite things. I'm passionate about music, cinematography and dance.
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Mathilde, je suis enseignante d'anglais et de français. J'ai grandi en France parlant le français avec mon père et anglais avec ma mère britannique. I come from a multicultural family where we all speak different languages. By experience I now know that learning a language isn't only about learning vocabulary, grammar but is also learning how to understand the world differently. Learning about the people, the way they live and the the way they think.
I've now been teaching languages for 6 years to all sorts of levels.
Je viens d'une famille internationale où nous parlons tous des langues différentes. Par expérience je sais maintenant que l'apprentissage d'une langue ne se limite pas au fait de connaître du vocabulaire mais d'ouvrir son esprit au monde qui nous entoure.

My classes are essentially based on conversation.
We can talk about whatever you're interested in or I can choose a topic such as online articles, movies, current events... I also enjoy using different ways to practice the language such as real life situation roleplays, writing in a diary, writing articles, debates...
Mes cours sont essentiellement basés sur la conversation.
Nous pouvons discuter de sujets qui vous intéressent. Les thèmes de nos discussions peuvent être également basés sur les actualités, des articles et films... I did a trial lesson with Mathilde and it was very nice!! Every time I doubted about a word, sentence or expression she wrote it to me and helped me out straight away. She is very friendly and fun to talk to, I will definitely take more classes with her. Merci Mathilde!

Had one lesson with Mathilde but I felt that I was able to practice and learn a lot! she was very patient and let me speak a lot which I am very grateful for. Looking forward to future lessons!

Quelques mois après mes premières leçon j'ai pu constater que mon niveau d'Anglais a augmenté donc cette personne est vraiment efficace et c'est toujours un plaisir de converser avec elle.
