A Malaysian/Cambodian doctor with a passion for languages and an ability to speak seven languages through the approach of real-life experiences, such as traveling, working, and interacting with people, it is undoubtedly an effective way to gain practical fluency and a deep understanding of the cultures associated with those languages.
Ability to connect with people from different backgrounds, understand their cultures, and pick up on non-verbal cues like facial expressions is a valuable asset. Dr Termizi is an unusually gifted teacher, being able to teach three very different languages, Malay, Thai and Cambodian.
He is tutoring me in Malay. I have already been learning Indonesian for 4 years with Indonesian tutors and was curious about the differences between Indonesian and Malay. Dr Termizi has been an excellent guide in this regard, and his own passionate interest in languages brings an extra luster to our interactions. It’s very interesting having conversation classes with someone who is sophisticated and cosmopolitan, he brings layers of experience that others may not possess.

Learning a new language, especially one as intricate as Khmer, is no small feat. Yet, under the guidance of Termizi, my journey into the Cambodian alphabet has been nothing short of transformative.
Termizi stands out not just for his deep understanding of the language but also for his methodical and precise teaching approach. He has an exceptional ability to make complex concepts seem simple and accessible, ensuring that I could read and write in the Cambodian alphabet far quicker than I had anticipated.
Termizi is not just an extraordinary teacher; he is also an incredible person.
In summary, Termizi is an outstanding teacher whose expertise, kindness, and dedication have not only taught me a new language but have also given me a deeper appreciation for Cambodian culture. Any student would be fortunate to have him as a guide on their language learning journey.

Only had a few lessons to date but seems a good teacher so far. As I already know some Malay he would have to work out my level as well. Lesson subjects have varied and includes some conversation.
