Hello everyone!
I'm Damla, and I'm excited to be your language teacher! With a background in translation studies and certification in Turkish teaching, I've worked with students from all over the world. You can count on me to bring patience, dedication, and fun into our learning journey.
Traveling is my passion—I love making new friends and having fascinating conversations. When I'm not teaching, I'm hiking, biking, or planning my next adventure.

First of all, I will determine your Turkish level and then will prepare a schedule for you to fasten your learning process. I will separately deal with your writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills if you like to. Our lesson will depend on your need. If you need more grammer lessons, or speaking lessons, we will focus on that. Also, I will give you homework when needed. Through my experiences, the most important thing in my lessons is note-taking. I'll be also writing what we have talked about in the (Skype) chat or I'll directly share a document that I can write the notes and you can also have those note files after the lesson.Öğretim materyallerim

I had many lessons with Damla, and I will continue to study with her, as she is a very talented teacher and a pleasant person to communicate with. She feels the mood and state of the student and knows at what moment to increase the requirements, and at what moment to switch to more relaxed informal communication. Damla is my all-time favorite in italki! She is always curious, friendly, positive, patient, and encouraging, all while being professional. I’m not stressed of making mistakes with her. Plus, she keeps English to a minimum, which is very important for me. 5 ⭐️ all the time!
