Hi! I'm Jhon, a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines with a bachelor's degree in secondary education with a major in Filipino. I grew up speaking Tagalog and Cebuano fluently, and I love teaching people about my culture and my language. In my free time, I enjoy watching shows and movies that spark my curiosity about nature and animals. I also love helping my younger brothers with their homework and giving them activities to practice what they've learned. Teaching has always been my passion, and sharing my native languages with others is my greatest calling. My studies encompassed Philippine literature, linguistics, teaching strategies for Filipino as a second language, translation, advanced grammar, and composition. This program honed my cultural understanding, and communication proficiency in both Filipino and English, equipping me to effectively educate and promote Filipino language and culture effectively.
