I love having lessons with Jackie. She is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She always comes prepared for our lessons and creates an environment where I feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes, which has helped me become more confident. She gently corrects mistakes, is encouraging, and has a keen sense of what areas need attention so we can work on them together. If you want to improve your French, I highly recommend Jackie!

Jackie is a very friendly and attentive teacher who always brings ample conversation topics and materials to our sessions. She is very easy to talk to and good at correcting my mistakes without interrupting the flow of our conversation. She is also honest and encouraging in her feedback, and she has already helped me broaden my vocabulary and learn new phrases. She has also brought great prompts for me to practice the TEF Canada oral section with her, and has recommended plenty of outside materials to build my reading and speaking skills. I would highly recommend her as a conversation partner, tutor, and test prep partner!

If you are looking for an excellent French teacher, look no further. Jackie is professional, knowledgeable, and fun! Her lessons are wonderful--an outstanding mix of real conversation and gentle correction. And the best part is, Jackie really listens to you. You feel very supported.
