Bergur

It has been such a great, informative past (2) months learning Faroese with you, Bergur. I feel confident in what I am saying and trying to convey. Still plenty of more advanced discussions and grammar to be had, but such a great foundation. I will be practicing as much as possible while í Havn og vit síggjast skjótt!

How often is it the case that your teacher can reference a saga that has anything even slightly to do with one's jobs. (In this case, seals, or rather kópakonan, a saga about a seal woman). As a fan of legends and sagas I was very happy for this turn of events. Bergur is so flexible in his teaching that I'm positive he can turn absolutely anything into a learning opportunity!

It was such a unique lesson experience with full immersion in history and life of the islands. I will recommend this to everyone. The language Faroese is difficult words are tough to speak but if you go to Faroe Islands and learn with him, you can speak and do well.

Bergur was flexible and let me lead - something some tutors find difficult. Great help, the right amount, and some fun cultural connections, too. Faroese is great, Bergur is great.

I would definitely recommend Bergur as a Faroese tutor.
