Hi, I'm Wella from Xi'an, China, where the famous terracotta warriors from! I'm a native Chinese speaker with great passion on language. I‘ve been working as a local custom and culture disseminator for two years, teaching people from different countries how to do Chinese calligraphy, how to appreciate Chinese water-ink paintings and how to better understand Chinese culture. Wella was really kind and funny. I enjoyed meeting her for our first lesson and trying my best to do a self introduction (自我介绍). She adapted to my speaking style and helped me with words I don't know while still continuing the conversation. Speak again next time! ^o^

Wella is an awesome teacher! Her lessons are packed with value and I have a lot to study between lessons - which I love. She was very encouraging and personalized the phrases we were working on - for example my hairless cat made an appearance in our lesson and she taught me how to talk about my pets! I loved the personalization. Wella speaks very good English as well which is incredibly helpful for me because I can ask her questions about what I am learning and her answers are very clear and help me understand and contextualize the lesson! I can't wait to continue with her!
