Beatriz Meira

Beatriz is super knowledgeable as a Portuguese teacher. I think she adapts quickly to the needs of each student, and I'm impressed! Would recommend!

I am working through the textbook Português Via Brasil with Beatriz. It is a good book but the information in it is very dense and explanations very light, so a guide is essential. In our lessons we go through the material methodically - Beatriz has created a Google document containing material from the book with some supplementary discussion points and videos. There is a lot of opportunity to build vocabulary, and we also review both old and new grammar. The texts from the book are varied, and I have especially enjoyed reading some short stories by Brazilian authors. Overall I think my lessons with Beatriz are great for taking quite an in-depth, academic approach to the language.

Best teacher ever!!! I strongly recommend the class with Beatriz! She is very professional and calm and give me energy to learn more. She provide me variety of material to learn and good amount of homework. I can have confident to be better speaker:)

Beatriz is a fantastic teacher. She is friendly, patient and organised. The materials that she uses are best practice and she structures her lessons well, with a focus on all 4 key elements of language learning: speaking, listening, reading and writing. My confidence has really grown with her help. I highly recommend lessons with Beatriz 🙂
