Yvan

The best tutor I have in italki. For French and later for Spanish. So lucky to have found him. 1 half month and 46 lessons. I'm proud with my progress. I smile so much and laugh so much during the class. Yvan is the best, I guarantee!

Yvan is very patient, supportive and a good teacher. He understands English and grammar very well which helps me to understand the differences between English and French languages. Each lesson helps me reinforce the things I learn from books and online as well as give the valuable opportunity to seek further clarification of things I haven't quite grasped. Also having the opportunity to converse with a native speaker is awesome. Overall I'm really pleased to have found Yvan on italki.

Yvan is an amazing teacher. I took lessons with him a few years ago and now I'm back. He has a lot of experience learning languages himself and so understands the student's perspective very well. He really tries to explain the reasoning behind grammatical theory which makes rules easier to follow. Plenty of exercises so that the language becomes natural/automatic. Excellent, excellent, excellent!
