Hi! My name is Mandy, and I am a native German teacher from northern Germany. I lived in the UK for many years before relocating to the beautiful island of La Palma. Languages have always played a big role in my life. I am passionate about not only teaching but also learning them. I hold a degree in language studies, focusing on language and creativity, and have been promoting language learning in British schools.
I teach German full-time online and I am grateful to meet many different students from various backgrounds. When I am not engaged with languages, you can find me mostly spending time with my dog, reading, learning, hiking, cooking and enjoying movies and series.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a teacher, I prioritise kindness and patience, having gone through the language learning process myself, I understand that it's not always a linear journey. Sometimes you find it easy, while at other times it can be frustrating. I want to help you overcome any obstacles that you encounter in your learning journey and ensure that you enjoy the process, while keeping a relaxed atmosphere. I also believe in holistic and human-centered learning and I want students to become curious and confident learners. In our lessons, we'll mainly focus on conversation so that you can express yourself freely and find your authentic "German" voice. It's important to maximise our speaking time and work on automising your knowledge, so you will feel more confident. Together, we'll explore new vocabulary, work on grammar, and improve pronunciation. Grammar will always be integrated in topics as you'll remember it best when it is taught in context and not in isolation. It is also more fun and less dry :) I'm flexible and happy to structure our lessons based on your unique needs and interests, so you can get the most out of each session.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

She consistently catches your mistakes and encourages you to think through what needs to be corrected. Eine weitere tolle Stunde mit Mandy. Es ist immer noch die Stunde, auf die ich mich jede Woche am meisten freue! Mein gesprochenes Deutsch hat sich mit Mandy so sehr verbessert und sie ist immer ermutigend und interessant und wir finden so viel, worüber wir uns unterhalten können.
