- Traveled Egypt with just one backpack for a month. It's one of the best memories in my 20s and also a turning point of my life. After the trip, I studied English for a year and decided to go oversea.
- Moved to Australia in 2014, living in countryside where you get to see small kangaroos in the backyard. (Snakes too, sometimes!) I used to work as an aged carer in nursing home. Now I'm a home and community support worker. :)ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
Before I call myself a teacher, I'm a lifelong learner.
I struggled with English at school like many of us.
Years of learning, but still was not able to hold a conversation.
So what made me change?
You can't expect someone to learn a language through random grammar or irrelevant vocabularies. How much do you think it would serve when you actually talk to people?
It's about making personal connection.
This is what I realised when I nearly got my passport stolen while traveling Egypt.
It made me speak, initiate and argue. I cared nothing but the conversation to deal with it.
From then, I completely changed the way I learn.

My lessons are mostly delivered in Korean, but I can explain in English and French to help you understand better. There's no need to be scared! :)
I provide "Conversation Focused" lessons.
Additional learning materials such as books & PDF file can provide us topics for each class.
(If you'd like to bring your own learning materials, we can discuss it.)
When you start talking in Korean with broken grammar, you might find it intense at first.
But you'll be surprised to see how quickly you're adapting to it.

Korean Language Teachers Program - TOPEDU Education Center - 2021It's a certificate of completion to certify that I've completed 120 hours of Korean Language Teachers Program. I've paid for both the program and the program's practical placement where I had to demonstrate my own class to professors(So this is not a free course!). I've learned how to teach Grammar, Pronunciation, Reading and Listening for all levels. I passed all the assignments and successfully completed the Korean Language Teachers Program.

Jihee helps sooo much! We meet once a week, but I already see the changes I have in my spoken Korean. Thank you, Jihee, for helping and motivating! After our lessons I feel massive boost of strength and inspiration for further studies!!

Again, I had a great lesson with Jihee! She encourages me to speak and try out new grammar. She always helps to incorporate grammar points I have learned with her in the past, strengthening my knowledge. I really enjoy learning Korean in her conversation lessons.

It's been a while since my last lesson but in my conversation class with 지희 씨 I instantly felt comfortable again. Considering it was a class to get back into the swing of things it felt really good, and as usual 지희 씨 was more than well prepared for when I had some questions / was looking for some pointers. 감사합니다 ~
