Hi~My name is Chen Yanxi.
I am a native Chinese speaker from Changsha,in the Hunan province.
I was a volunteer Chinese teacher and also a qualified HSK test invigilator at a Confucius Institute in Thailand.I have a master‘s degree in teaching Chinese.I have been teaching Chinese for 5 years(2 years at my university,1year in Thailand and 2 years on italki), I teach students of all levels,from all around the world. I am an experienced Chinese teacher who is passionate about teaching and is very patient.

Chen Yanxi is an amazing teacher. I have only been learning Chinese Mandarin for a couple of months now and my pronunciation and sentence structuring have improved a lot. She is a very patient, friendly and jovial person, who explains things with clarity and professionalism. I highly recommend Chan Yanxi .

Wonderful class! Yanxi is the perfect choice if you want to learn Mandarin. She slowly introduces you to new words, practiced with me the new words and had a clear plan on how she works. It is a pitty that she is going to take a break from Italki or I would continue with her. I hope she will come back to Italki soon.
