'A different language is a different version of life', Italian film director Federico Fellini admitted back in the 60s.
The way in which we view communication and teaching has changed in ways beyond language barriers, worldwide virtual classrooms have become our reality.
My name is Julia and I'm a Bachelor of Spanish Literature from Córdoba, Argentina.
As a bilingual person myself, I've had the pleasure of sharing intercultural experiences with students from many different backgrounds.
I'd like to note I do not have a strong Argentinian (Buenos Aires) accent, my Spanish is quite neutral due to my experiences and formation.Показать перевод

I currently work as an associate professor in the Literature subject at the National University.
The act of teaching does not end with the teacher's exposition. It is a dialogue where we exercise communication and interpersonal skills, an approach with empathy and patience.
As teachers, we incorporate and practice decision-making and problem-solving skills. With time, I've learned to analyze our students' strengths, interests, and motivations in order to find the best way to approach the most difficult topics of the Spanish language.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I prefer to organize the lesson, conversation, and exercises around a topic of your interest. This will be our keystone to practice and create familiarity with words from your own personal dictionary in your native tongue. Is this familiarity what helps us remember and build connections with our previous knowledge.
I like to finish my lessons with a short quiz reviewing the most important (or challenging) aspects of the conversation.
For students interested in practicing pronunciation and phonetics, lessons can be arranged to focus on it.Мой учебный материал

I have had some of the best conversations with Julia about the world, Argentina, lots of cultural comparisons. She has such an amazing mind for history and literature, if those are areas that you enjoy discussing. Every time we work together I have so much fun; the time literally flies by. Julia is an amazing teacher! She's very friendly, sweet and just a joy to talk to. She encourages me to speak Spanish as much as I can. She explains things very well and she even structures the lesson for my learning style. I always look forward to our lessons :) Thank you Julia!

Julia is fantastic! If you have a high level of Spanish (like a B2/C1) and are looking to build your language, she is the right choice. She is so knowledgeable about a variety of topics and I have been able to learn and hear so much precise vocabulary in addition to hearing different points of view and being able to learn about Argentina.
