Laura Cardona

Laura is the best Spanish teacher I have ever had!! I am using her DELE preparation package and I work with her 2 hours a week, and my Spanish abilities have improved very fast with her help. She is very experienced in teaching Spanish to language-learners and she gives great feedback and guidance. She also gives great explanations and interesting, engaging, and most importantly helpful assignments both in class and for homework. I highly recommend working with Laura, she is the best!

Laura is an absolute gem, every time I feel so lucky to have found her on this huge website. I have tried so many languages and teachers, and every time (i kid you not) I am disappointed they are not more like Laura. Her classes are structured in an exquisite way really like no other, and she has a great ear for grammar mistakes. The way her classes are first and foremost are built around conversation have made me progress incredibly. I always enjoy our thought-provoking discussions, which range from "what have you done this week" to feminism, inequality and even politics. Her perspective is always eye-opening! I can therefore promise you that she is best teacher if you're building from scratch and/or want to develop your Spanish perfectly into the details. I have had Spanish with her for over a year now, and I can honestly say we have become really great friends. This is so unique & I am so thankful for it every time! With time, we'll definitely visit one another around the world!

Laura is a superb teacher. With her guidance, I achieved the professional fluency score I needed for my work. She has a wry sense of humor, a good focus on advanced grammar, and an interesting personal background that makes every lesson a pleasure, not matter what you mood you started in. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

in the past, I admit, I would avoid taking classes unless I felt entirely rested and focused. it meant, of course, that I would end up taking fewer classes. I showed up to today's class severely jet lagged, still drinking my coffee... Laura made it a really productive hour nonetheless! that takes a special skill.

Laura is the best Spanish teacher I have ever had (and I have had many throughout school and college)! I have never advanced this fast and she provides such thorough and well thought out explanations. I never thought I would become such a strong Spanish speaker, and I definitely would not have without her!
