Hey there! My name is Rahab Kimani from Nairobi, Kenya.
As a native Swahili speaker, I'm here to share my knowledge of this beautiful language with you; from the history of Swahili to the intricacies of its grammar. So, Whether you're a linguistics nerd like me, or just looking to broaden your vocabulary, I'm here for you.

I am a teacher by proffesion. Offline, I teach swahili and religion in highschool to learners aged between 13-19 years. Online, I have had the opportunity to tutor learners off all ages who are learning and improving their Swahili and Gikuyu.

From the beginning, Rahab made me feel at ease and encouraged with her bright smile and positive energy. I especially appreciated her sharing of anecdotes, short stories which made the lesson feel more personal and engaging, that I’m not just learning the language, but something about the people that speak it. Can’t wait for the next lesson with Rahab.
