Erkan Mayda

I really look forward to my lessons with Erkan. Before my lesson today, I felt like something you find on the bottom of your shoe, with a temperature and the beginnings of a chesty cough. But chatting to Erkan is so relaxing that I soon forgot how ill I was and started to enjoy myself. I am able to have meaningful conversations with him, and his gentle corrections are always useful without being intimidating.

I just had a great lesson with Erkan. He spoke clearly and at a speed that was good for me. He also did a good job of correcting my mistakes and also affirming when I said something correctly, which I really appreciated! Overall he seems like a great teacher, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to help them with their Turkish!

Erkan is a great teacher. Friendly, punctual, attentive. He wants to teach Turkish from the bottom of his heart. Lessons pass very quickly, because it is interesting with him. Erkin also talks about interesting places in different cities, I liked it)

He adjusts his speaking level and pace depending on every single student, and even how I struggle to say only one word, he deals with it patiently. Ideal teacher especially for daily conversation.
