Nando is an excellent teacher who is also very empathic and adapts the class as needed on the day. He gives clear explanations of any grammar problems that arise and conversations with him are always interesting and entertaining.

I really enjoy working with Nando, and I would recommend him if you're trying to improve your Spanish conversational skills. I'm at a point with Spanish where I can read novels or listen to news podcasts, but I knew I needed more speaking practice. I tried out a few iTalki teachers, and I stuck with Nando because: 1) he gave me the choice between practicing natural conversation or specifically focusing on DELE preparation. 2) he's very prepared and structured. Before each lesson he sends real-world videos and news articles about varied topics, and then uses those as a starting point for conversation. 3) most importantly, at the end of each session, more than any other teacher I tried out, he gives actionable, meaningful, detailed notes about the errors I made during our discussion. Nando's helped me identify my main speaking pitfalls. I'm looking forward to working with him a lot longer, both for conversational practice and eventually for DELE B2 test preparation.
