I am Kristine from the Philippines and I have a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management. I enjoy reading, listening to music and podcasts, singing, dancing, and spending time with my family.
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about their cultures and traditions.
I have been teaching English for three years to students of all ages and levels. Through teaching, I met the nicest and most passionate students (mostly from China so I found myself speaking Chinese. 学习这门语言是令人着迷的)
What's the best about teaching is that I get to help others learn and reach their goal by sharing my skills/knowledge.

I always make sure to let my students feel comfortable during class.

I like to motivate my students all the time.
I encourage mistakes, gently correct them, and practice them with my students.
I always try my best to extend the topic/lesson and make sure that my students are making the best out of our class.
I do further research about the lesson before the class starts.

My teaching styles depend on you as the student. Generally, I apply this model of teaching- 'I Do We Do You Do' as well as the 70:30 principle (a ratio of student talk time to teacher talk time). Furthermore, being a flexible teacher also means being a dynamic teacher applying different teaching styles such as Demonstrator Style, Facilitator Style, Delegator Style, and Hybrid Style which all depend on the student's needs and learning level. I believe that it is very important for teachers to adapt according to their students in order to deliver effective learning.Мой учебный материал

I couldn't be more thrilled with my progress! Kristine has been amazing! I had a Filipino friend from Las Vegas visiting (haven't seen him in over a year), and he was shocked at how much of the conversation I understood. I won the jackpot finding Kristine as a teacher!
