Nelly es una excelente profesora, escucha atentamente y ofrece temas interesantes y variados. Es muy motivadora y me ha ayudado a progresar mucho. ¡Recomiendo tomar clases con ella!

I always learn so much in my lessons with Nelly. I am at the stage of learning where I need to learn the finer, more detailed points of Spanish. Nelly does a great job of explaining these points, providing examples, and then giving opportunities to practice them. I am steadily progressing to the next level since I've been working with Nelly. An outstanding teacher.

Nelly was really good at allowing me to speak and express myself before correcting me. Her explanations were thorough and were at a level of spanish I could clearly understand. She explained enough grammar for me to understand, for example why the subjunctive was best used for a particular sentence. without it slowing the conversation. I know the grammar in theory and can do it in exercises, but it is very different when I am trying to speak. The conversation today with the real time corrections of what i was saying was very helpful. Today she took my clunky expressions and taught me the colloquial expressions for what I was trying to say. This will definitely help me improve my fluency over time without me sounding like I am reading from a textbook. I am looking forward to more classes with her.

Nelly’s enthusiasm for the language is contagious, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my Spanish skills since starting the classes. I highly recommend Nelly to anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish.
