I have been booking lessons with lars for a very long time now and he has been an amazing teacher every single lesson. Chill dude, well worth the time.

Lars is an excellent conversation partner. He has an impressive ability to keep the conversation flowing and engaging without seeming either to control it or to put the pressure on the student. When I started iTalki I worried about filling an entire hour with second-language chat, but our lessons fly by. His corrections are targeted and encouraging.

That I consistently choose Lars as my teacher comes as no surprise: he's acutely aware of verbal and written nuances, knows his grammar through and through and doggedly reminds you of your mistakes to help you along the bumps on your journey to fluency and beyond.

I bought 5 lessons with Lars to prepare me for a trip to Germany with my family. My goal was to not only learn to speak German but to also understand cultural differences, so I did not say or do something embarrassing or offensive. Lars was fantastic. He was patient and prepared for each lesson with specific items to go over to help me interact with people I meet. He also corrected some initial notions I had about how to speak based on apps like Duolingo which is extremely valuable. I would recommend Lars to anyone.
