Welcome everyone! My name is Romain, I'm from Lille in the North of France.
I’ve always been fascinated by languages and after learning English and Italian at school, I’ve learned Spanish and Portuguese by myself and studied various languages such as Dutch, German and Chinese.
I'm passionate about Art History and I love to share my passion with anyone interested. I used to work in museums (Louvre, Centre Pompidou) and I worked as a tour guide in Florence and Venice.
IMPORTANT:
- Please book a trial lesson before any "general" or "business" lessons
- I teach only adults

During the trial lesson, I’ll evaluate your level in French to target your difficulties and find out the best way to help you progress.
My lessons include open access to the textbook, flashcards with vocabulary, exercises and learning games.
> For beginners, lessons focus on structuring your dialogue, enabling you to build basic sentences to hold a conversation in French.
> For advanced students, lessons allow you to enlarge your vocabulary: the common expressions, useful vocabulary and grammar rules. These lessons contain a lot of opportunities to practice conversation in order to speak in a more fluid way.Meu material de ensino

I have been taking conversation classes since last summer and earlier this year started with some art history classes, which have been excellent. One of my primary reasons to learn French has been to access art history resources in the language, and these classes have been the perfect stepping stone. They are well-organised and have covered a lot of my favourite artists and time periods. As always, Romain is well-prepared and engaging!

Great second class. I really appreciate how Romain customised the lesson: we focussed on speaking exercises from a chapter from the Edito A1 book. Learnt lots of vocabulary along the way. Great balance between structure and improvisation.
