Today I learnt how to use different forms of action verbs! Mika Sensei went over each type and then provided new examples of how it can be used which was really helpful. Looking forward to my next class and learning more 😁

Today’s lesson with Mikaさん highlighted something I take for granted - the balance of conversation. Mikaさん is a great listener and allows me to speak without interruption. I notice that she often pauses after she says something so that I can continue if I want to. But there’s also a great balance in the conversation so that I can listen to her stories (which are interesting and engaging btw) and practice my listening. This is an ideal way for me to learn Japanese because I can listen to interesting stories while also having the support of Mikaさん to quickly learn new words.
