Alan wasn't my first teacher on this platform; I had tried four before choosing him. Over the past 14 months, we've had 45 30-minute "Friendly Intermediate / Advanced Professional Conversation" classes (I need conversation practice to keep my English from getting completely rusty), and every single class has received 5 stars.
Alan always gives me the opportunity to practice speaking as much as possible while also helping me out when I stumble and pointing out mistakes in real time so I can repeat a word or phrase correctly. At the end of classes, I also get a list of mistakes or words that have caused me problems, which is very helpful.
I definitely recommend Alan to everyone who is looking for conversational practice on a reasonable budget.
