I use Genki 1 for Beginners course, Genki 2 for Intermediate 1 course, An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese and Tobira for Intermediate 2 course. For advanced students, the lesson material can be arranged as you please, such as news articles and books. For Beginners to Intermediate 2 course, we will mainly use textbook as well as worksheets and PowerPoint Presentation during the class. At the end of each lesson, I give some homework mainly from the workbook. I sometimes send a worksheet for homework, too. You can complete your homework in your own time and we will check answers in the following lesson.

My mother-tongue is Korean. But I've learned English, Japanese and Chinese. So I truly understand how difficult learning languages is. I'm very positive, patient and enthusiastic. And I prepare each lesson only for A student. For example, if a student has a tendency to make mistakes using the present perfect, I usually prepare more focused lessons that he or she can repeatedly practice using the present perfect. I believe you could learn more through the mistakes that you make. And I will be there for you to correct or coach whenever you need it. You are going to be very very proud of yourself in the end. Language learning is not a simple process, and there are lots of ways to do it. If your focus is conversation and practical use, my lessons would be perfect for you.
