The main thing is that you speak, and I’ll encourage you to not be afraid of making mistakes. I’ll try to make corrections in a way that least interferes with the conversation. If you’re an intermediate self-learner of German, my experience could be uniquely useful to you. I essentially taught myself the language to a high level, so I’m well acquainted with the difficulties self-learners face.
